So last week, we attended another convention. We were cramming like yeah a week before. My armor, weapons and wig styling (well lol basically the WHOLE costume) were not done yet. I was having a hard time to look for a tailor too. But gaaaah, I wasw slacking off again x__x (as usual). Anyway, I arranged some meeting with Rekan (my Sarutobi Sasuke during AOF) so that we could finish our costumes together. "Bayahinan" poweeeer oh yeah. 'Twas great fun. I styled the wigs while she helped me with the weapons. Sasuke's freakin' hair did not obey me :angry:. We even woke up really early to meet up again and work, work, work. And yeah, we even ate cereal together! Then we got dressed and I remarked that I looked like Mitsuhide Akechi with my loose pants and two spears

'Twas an hour drive from our house and we instantly felt a jolt of excitement upon seeing the globe of MOA. My dad even parked waaay up to amuse us (yeah right). "Uy, wag tayong tumabi sakanila. Baka akala nila may kasama tayong mga abno." - My dad ._. Mean, yeah?

When we reached SMX, I embraced the looooooong escalator once again (it takes 56 seconds to finish one flight! ). We got dressed and I felt that I was so freakin' exposed D: but meh, mas marami pa ang mas exposed and kinda decent parin ung akin and I am MANLY! I made a chest binder because I am so broke. I can't even buy bandages D: Anyway, I made a tube top and the armor covers up my tummy+waist so nothing was seen.

Gah, I have to say, this was one of the best cons that I've been to. Well, for me, it is. We can't even go to the bathroom straight away. We were blocked by congoers who wants to take our picture. A lot of them were asking if we have other Basara groupmates. Sadly, 'twas just the two of us. But on our way to the bathroom (the same bathroom trip), we were invited to a Basara group. We couldn't contain our happiness. We rushed to the bathroom immediately to scream our heart out .

Okay back to con area experience. It was hard posing D: I poked a lot of innocent people with my spear. (*cough* i even poked someone's butt like the one Kakashi does >_> And I was happy bec some even called me "Kuya" (tagalog for bro or brother) even with obvious binding >D and for the first time ever... we were asked for an autograph . Really really surreal Anyway, my top was falling apart (the bits I stuck thar >D) and we have to go to school the next day so we changed early (5:00?). And went home with a smile on our faces

All in all, 'twas an awesome experience. It was my first time to make a semi-armor and a spear. I made everything from scratch and recycled materials (because I am poor! and I must be resourceful in order to save money >D). Personally, I think I kinda failed as Yukimura. So before Hero con, I must find a new wig and must fix the top and add the shin guards.

I'm blabbing too much Anyhooo~ I must be off. I'm gonna watch Pacquiao vs Cotto in a theatre (for free 8D so yehaa can't miss the awesome opportunity). Bye
